The First Cosmological Evidence in 2017 that our Universe is a complex, cosmic hologram - Southampton University
It made headline news in the NYTimes in 2017, when the first cosmological evidence appeared at the LIGO Observatories in support of Einstein’s relativity theory, 80 years after he proposed it.
In January 2017, a UK, Canadian, and Italian study provided, what researchers believe, is the first observational evidence that our Universe could be a vast complex hologram, just a year after Dr. Currivan first presented her work at the Laszlo Institute for New Paradigm Research, and two months prior to the book release of The Cosmic Hologram by Dr. Jude Currivan.
Professor Kostas Skenderis of The University of Southampton commented: “Holography is a huge leap forward in the way we think about the structure and creation of the Universe. Einstein’s theory of general relativity explains almost everything large scale in the Universe very well, but starts to unravel when examining its origins and mechanisms at quantum level. Scientists have been working for decades to combine Einstein’s theory of gravity and quantum theory. Some believe the concept of a holographic Universe has the potential to reconcile the two.”
In May 2018, in a paper published shortly after his death, Professor Stephen Hawking and co-author Professor Thomas Hertog argue that our Universe is finite and closed – again in line with the understanding set out in The Cosmic Hologram.
In her book, Dr Currivan explains how Quantum Mechanics and Einstein’s Theory of Relativity can indeed be reconciled, if energy-matter and space-time are considered as complementary expressions of information, that enable our Universe to exist and evolve in a finite life-cycle, and as a closed, and unified, entity. She further explores how dynamic, relational in-formational patterns pervade its holographic manifestation and underpin its evolutionary impulse.
