What's the whole point of school in the first place? How can we use these times of global uncertainty to address some of the inequalities and challenges in education today?

WW-V Core Team member Priya Mahtani hosted and convened Education Re-Imagined: Helping Shape Our Children's Future, Together. Joined by newest core team member and event speaker Chuck Peters. The event was a 3-hour online interactive session as part of World Unity Week and the 75th anniversary celebrations for the signing of the UN Charter.

Held on Friday 26 June, 64 parents and educators joined us online and despite the heat and tech challenges, it was moving to hear so much passion and commitment on how can we live with greater equity for all living beings, including the earth herself. It was a small but important step to gather with parents and educators globally and explore how the power of a generative field can be worked with as a force for good and change in education today.

It was heartening to hear so many folk from all over the world deeply interested in our children's future. At this transformational time in our evolution as a species, the possibilities for the future that such spaces bring feels like a potent way to work through the challenges of these times.
