Tony Currivan
I studied Architecture at Bristol University and founded BIAS, an independent self-organised student post-grad course.
Since qualification as a Registered Architect, I have worked in a range of architecture offices in the private and public sectors in London, Bristol, Gloucester and Swindon. I established and ran my own architecture practice for 10 years pioneering sustainable building design and was a key committee member of Association for Environment Conscious Building running conferences and teaching leading edge green design. I was awarded a Masters in Urban Planning at Oxford Brookes University in 2013.
I am currently working at Swindon Borough Council designing and commissioning schools, houses and Libraries. I am also involved with the new commercialization programme looking at establishing new business within the Council.
My skills include design and project management: I particularly enjoy collaborative working with clients and building teams.
I am married with two grown up children and live happily in Wiltshire, UK.
