”When I was in college working on a Bachelor of Science the view taught was that everything was random with no meaning, the earth was just a chunk of rock and we started at birth ended at death with no purpose or meaning in between, end of story.

If one believed in spirituality or life after death, they were considered uneducated superstitious fools.

Fortunately, those views are evolving if a bit slowly.

What are the new thoughts on life, death, purpose and the universe? Do they add meaning to life? Is there any science supporting them?
